DECLARATION OF FINANCIAL INTEREST
Councillor Stewart declared financial interests in Items 10.2/B1 and 10.2/PL8.
Councillor Spagnolo declared a financial interest in Item 9.3

Q. Is the Council aware that Atlas informed the "West Australian" today that no rubbish is being digested at Atlas and that what is happening is that it is being trucked back out of Atlas to an unknown destination to be composted?
A1 The Executive Manager Finance and Corporate Services responded by advising that the City had received no such information from Atlas the Council has been advised that household refuse is being either processed by the Atlas composting/digesting plant or is being trucked to Tamala Park for disposal by the Mindarie Regional Council, This advice was confirmed with Atlas on 19 May 1997.
Q2 Where is the rubbish going to and where is it being composted?
