THE COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION TO COUNCIL

That the information contained within the report of the Executive Manager Community Development - 16 January 1996 on the construction and equipping of the new Day Centre at 11 Cornelian Street, Scarborough, be received.

The motion was put and declared CARRIED.

The Chairman commended the work and efforts of the Manager Welfare Services in relation to the establishment of the second day centre. Particular reference was made to the project costs being kept within the HACC grant, enabling the purchase of a second vehicle for the centre.
