ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN
The City Manager opened the meeting and called for nominations for the position of Chairman. Councillor Rose nominated Councillor Daniel. As there were no further nominations, Councillor Daniel was elected as Chairman.

THE COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION TO COUNCIL
1. That approval be given for the Manager Welfare Services, Mrs P. Olver and Councillors, in accordance with Policy, to attend the Aged Care Australia - 1st National "Community Aged Care Package" (C.A.C.P) Conference to be held in Sydney from 25-26 July 1996.
2. That the registration fee be paid now from 1995/96 budgeted funds in E220 Conferences Account 2590059A.
3. That air fare and accommodation costs be allocated in the 1996/97 budget.
